Who I Am
I started writing software in 2018. Since then, I’ve worked across several stacks, but now I spend most of my time in Go professionally and Odin personally.
What I Do
Professionally, I build backend systems: distributed services, event pipelines, developer tooling. I’m drawn to problems where understanding the system deeply is non-negotiable before you can build anything that holds up.
Lately I’ve been building games. Not in Unity or Godot. I build them from closer to the ground, in Odin with SDL3. I like knowing how the pieces fit together. I like the constraint of doing more with less.
What I Value
- Simplicity over cleverness. The best code is the code you don’t have to write. The second-best is the code that makes sense at 2am.
- Tools that stay out of your way. The best tools are invisible. They get out of your way and stay there.
- Depth over breadth. I’d rather understand one thing well than ten things shallowly.
